I know our sympathies are with those who have lost loved ones.

From the eMail bag:
"It's a fine Sunday morning [May 23] here at the end of May. The dogwood is beautiful, lilacs and lupine are everywhere, flowers gorgeous and it's thundering and snowing like crazy. There's already about two inches on the ground."
Frankie (Ingraham) Kinderman

"Georgia, the girl squatting down in the3 girl pic is Charlotte Magill who was my steady in our senior year."
Reese Russell, '56.

"The picture of the 4 girls is a copy of one I took at the 'old' high school, jr. high. It's from the left, Myrna Kaye Langley, Yvonne Anderson, Laurie, and kneeling Charlotte Magill."
Mary (Harris) Thompson '56

btw....the picture of 'the girls' is posted right here at the WolverNet blog, left hand side, second item down,

And from one 'the girls' herself.....
Charlotte Magill send this info.....
"Georgia, am visiting my "grandmother-daughter" in Florissant, Colorado (40+ miles West of Colorado Springs) and would like to know if any classmates are in Colorado Springs or Denver area. I plan to be here thruJune and maybe into July. My cell phone is 760-362-2937, but in the mountain area there in sparse connection so will go to voice mail which I am able to retrieve every 2 days. My email is macmagill@gmail.com again, I can pick that up about every 2 days. I have a place in Yucca Valley, Calif. in the same Sr Park where Norma Lee Gardner lives. Thanks to you and your letter, I now am planning to get to the 55th reunion in 2011."

A mural showing the three buildings that have served as LHS since its beginning over 100 years ago and a time line of team sports championships won by Wolverines, was unveiled this past week in the LHS cafeteria where it will hang on the west wall. The mural was painted by LHS art teacher Kenny Hobbs and paid for by the LHS class of 2006. The mural is oil on canvass and consists of one 10 foot by 3 foot panel; two - 3 foot by 3 foot panels. Future plans call for another 10 foot panel to be added when funds become available.

btw.....This picture is posted here on the blog - on the right hand side of page.

Extending congratulations and good luck to the LHS Class of 2010.
