Luther (Lou), '57, & Barbara Green have just returned from a trip to the great American West with these comments.....
" The desert was in full bloom......very pretty....will be busy counting our gold nuggets. I know I was close to the Dutchman's mine, I just know it! Oh well, another trip."
Lou commented one of the favorite parts of the trip was the 'Apache Trail'.

LHS Reunions:

1). Ann (Shilling) Anderson, '54 and her husband Larry are busy making plans for a class 1954 (and any others who would like to join in) a mini-reunion in Ashland, Oregon (Anns home) beginning Tuesday, September 27 and ending Saturday morning after breakfast on October 1. Ann needs to know who is coming by July 1. She has a reservation at the Siskiyou House for eight people at $350 per night to be split among the group. She also has tickets for ten people to see two plays during the world-famous Ashland Shakespeare Festival. One is a hysterical play called “The Imaginary Invalid” and the other is “August Osage County,” a comedy/drama set in Osage County, Oklahoma.

The events will include a garden wine reception on the first night, hosted by Ann and Larry; a trip to nearby Crater Lake for hiking, sightseeing and relaxation; and a wine tasting tour in Jacksonville for daytime activities. If you would like to fly to this reunion Ann suggest flying into Medford, Oregon.
You can call Ann or Larry to let her know you plan to come at (541) 488-0523 or you can email Ann at: annashland@aol.com
