(Wood) Cherry, Received this Sunday afternoon (April 10) from Jodi Baird who says Ashley gave her permission to notify friends. Kathy has been fighting cancer for some time now. "I talked with Ashley Cagle (LHS class of '64) yesterday. His wife, Kathy, is now on hospice at their home and, sadly, the prognosis is not good. Kathy's on only pain medication at this point and no further medical treatment is expected. From the eMail bag: The girls of '59, Stir some memories guys and gals....... LHS Senior prom was this past Saturday night. My niece Tara Gill - LHS class 2011 - was there. Haven't seen the pictures yet! My guess - Facebook has them! I saw numerous whirling around town in limousines, long dresses, fancy hair-dos, nails done, out dining before the prom. Regards to all.
